Privacy policy
This policy explains what Pixel Stream collects, why it is collected, and how it is used to operate image, video, link, account, and API features.
1. Data we collect
We may collect account details such as email address, password hash, plan status, settings, uploaded files, file names, file sizes, MIME types, generated links, visibility settings, timestamps, API tokens, and basic usage metadata.
2. Logs and technical information
When you use the service, servers may record IP address, user agent, request path, referrer, response status, bandwidth usage, upload events, API calls, security events, and error logs needed for operation and protection.
3. Uploaded files
Uploaded files are stored so they can be delivered through links, previews, downloads, account tools, and API responses. Public files may be accessible to anyone with the link. Private files are not intentionally listed publicly.
4. How we use data
We use data to provide hosting, process uploads, generate links, authenticate accounts, maintain sessions, apply plan limits, prevent abuse, investigate errors, improve reliability, and respond to support or abuse requests.
5. Cookies and local storage
Pixel Stream may use cookies or local storage for login sessions, language preference, security, and basic interface settings. Disabling them may prevent account features from working correctly.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data when required by law, to investigate abuse, to protect users and infrastructure, to enforce terms, or to service providers that help run hosting, storage, security, analytics, or email delivery.
7. Retention
Files, account data, metadata, and logs are kept as long as needed to provide the service, meet plan rules, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Deleted files may remain briefly in backups or caches.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. You should keep credentials and API tokens secret and avoid uploading data that requires guaranteed confidentiality.
9. Your choices
Depending on your location and account status, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data. Some information may be retained when necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or legitimate service operation.
10. Minors
Pixel Stream is not intended for users who are not old enough to create an online account under the laws that apply to them. If we learn that an account was created unlawfully by a minor, we may remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, legal requirements, or operational practices change. Continued use of Pixel Stream after changes means the updated policy applies.
